We are expanding our office! Become part of the team, our family owned 35-person business has provided in-floor radiant heating to the region since 1993.
You will be primarily answering phones, following up with customers, reconciling technician time with their vehicles’ GPS records, dispatching changes to the technicians’ schedules as emergency calls come in and assisting our primary dispatcher with scheduling. There will be some arranging of shipping pick-ups. A variety of uncommon tasks do come up in our small office and as a junior role this position will get to handle some of them as well.
Skills required:
Must have strong verbal communication skills and understand the value of exceptional customer service. Excellent phone presence is essential! Many calls are about homes whose heating is not working as intended and the residents are stressed as a result. You will be the soothing voice of empathy as you get their details and schedule a technician to get their families’ heat back on! Computer skills such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, proficient typing are also necessary.
Helpful experience:
Dispatching/scheduling, multi-line telephone systems, FieldEdge and GPS vehicle tracking services/websites, knowledge of the home heating industry.
We prefer a very local candidate. This is an “in-office” position. Allergen/sensitivity info: we are a fragrance-free office that frequently contains at least one dog.
Compensation:
$25-35/hour Depending on Experience, HSA Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Paid Time Off
